One of the most commonly relished sweet dishes in North India
Clean, wash and soak rice in water for 2hours. cold
Boil milk on medium flame, add green cardamom, makhane and rice. Let it cook on medium flame. In between keep stirring it so that it doesn't burn.
Once rice is cooked add almonds, cashew, chironji, raisins, grated coconut and sugar.
Garnish with chopped dry fruits and saffron strands. Serve hot or cold
