You will need following ingredients.

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup boiled corn kennels
  • 1/2 cup red/yellow/green bell peppers
  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour
  • To taste Salt
  • Pinch of Pepper Powder
  • Pinch of Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Sauce
  • 1 cube grated processed cheese
  • 16pc Salted Biscuits
  • 1 cup masala sev

Vegetable Hyderabadi Biryani

When we hear the word Biryani we mostly think of Non-veg Biryani but for all my vegetarian friends here is an awesome recipe of veg biryani. I learnt it from one of my relative and i think its really very yummy. Try it out and let me know..

Ingredients

Onions (sliced)

1 tsp + 3tbsp

as per taste

lemon juice

5-6 cups

Garam masala

Crushed ginger

Red chilly sauce

Red chilly powder

Method

  1. Soak rice in water for 30 minutes. Then Boil 5 cups of water in a large pan along with rice,elaichi, bay leaf, cloves, oil, salt and lemon juice. Boil till they are just done and strain it.


  2. Heat oil. Add onion slices. Saute it. Remove onions from oil. Now add all vegetables and curd to oil according to their tenderness. Stir fry for 2 -3 minutes. Remove from fire when curd dries and oil separates.


  3. Add chilly paste, chilly powder, salt, garam masala and khoya.


  4. Divide rice into 3 parts & vegetables into 2 parts. To assemble, grease a handi with ghee. Place a layer of rice and then a layer of vegetables followed by onions & almonds.


  5. Spread 2nd layer of rice and vegetables & onions in the same manner. Spread the last layer of rice. Pour all kesar milk (Kesar soaked in milk) in the boundary.


  6. Cover & seal with foil & keep on dum on tawa for 15 minutes on low flame. Serve hot
