Panjabi Style Chola
Soaked chana (7-8 hours)
Red chilly powder
Dry mango powder
as per taste
FinelyChopped ginger in thin and long slices
Green chillies(chopped in long slices)
Green coriander for garnishing
Boil chana with amla pieces and salt (2 whistles and then reduce the gas flame and cook for another 20-25 min)
Now open the pressure cooker add all the masalas in it.
Add chopped tomatoes, green chillies and ginger(half quantity of each, rest leave for garnishing)
Now take another pan, heat ghee on high flame and add ajwain to it
Now add this tadka to chole and cook for 5 mins.
And now transfer it to the serving bowl and garnish with the left green chillies, tomatoes, ginger and corriander. Serve hot.
