  • Medium Sized Pan


You will need following ingredients.

  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup boiled corn kennels
  • 1/2 cup red/yellow/green bell peppers
  • 1 tbsp all purpose flour
  • To taste Salt
  • Pinch of Pepper Powder
  • Pinch of Oregano
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Sauce
  • 1 tbsp Chilli Sauce
  • 1 cube grated processed cheese
  • 16pc Salted Biscuits
  • 1 cup masala sev

Chicken Curry - Dhaba Style

Home made Chicken Curry Dhaba Style Recipe. This recipe is spicy. I tried this at home this weekend, & it turned out be amazing!! You could cut down on spices, if you like it a bit non-spicy.

1.5 Kgs

Chicken

1 tsp

Kasoori methi

To taste

Degi Mirch

Lal Mirch Powder

1 tsp

Jeera powder

1/2 tsp

Haldi

4 tbsp

Ghee

Method

  1. Wash and drain chicken.


  2. Dry roast dhania seeds, whole red chillies and kasoori methi till aromatic.


  3. Marinate chicken in dahi, along with the above spice mix, salt, haldi, lal mirch powder, degi mirch, jeera powder and the minced ginger and garlic.


  4. Keep the marinated chicken in Fridge for 1 hour


  5. Meanwhile heat 4 tbsp ghee. Add jeera followed by all the whole spices and cook for a minute.


  6. Add the sliced onions and cook on medium heat for 5-10 minutes, till the onions become golden brown, After that add tomato puree, & let it cook for 2mins.


  7. Transfer the onions and the whole spices to a pressure cooker and add a tbsp of water. Pressure cook till 1 whistle.


  8. Once steam releases open cooker and transfer the mixture back to the original pan. Let it cook till 2 mins


  9. Transfer the marinated chicken in the pan, & cover the lid of the pan & let it cook for 10-15mins of high flame


  10. Add about 2 cups warm water to the chicken, simmer for 10 minutes or till tender and cooked through.


  11. Sprinkle with the fresh dhania & serve it with plain tawa or roomali rotis
