Black pepper seeds
Dry Red chilli
Chopped green chilies
Ginger Garlic Paste
3 glasses of water
as per taste
Roast all the masala ingredients and run into mixer to form fine powder.
In a pan add oil, ghee, dry red chilly, bay leaves. Fry for 1 minute.
Now add spices powder. Stir to fry. Add chopped onions, green chillies and ginger garlic paste. Keep stirring till it turns brown. (Approximately for 20minutes)
Add kaynat masala and 50ml water. Keep frying till mixture turns dark brown in color.
Add chicken. Reduce the flame and let it cook for good amount of time. Keep stirring in between to prevent it from burning.
Add salt and mix it well. Now add 1.3 glasses of water. Switch it to high flame for 5-10 minutes.
Later reduce the flame and cook it until pieces are soft and tender.
Once soft, sprinkle garam masala, coriander leaves. Add few drops of kewda. Cover it with lid and leave it like this for another 30 minutes.
